The Book of Ruth
The biblical account of Ruth carries forward the Bible's overarching storyline concerning the seed of the woman
promised in Genesis 3:15. Throughout history God preserved the promised seed that would someday crush the head
of the serpent. Ruth was a God-fearing woman who through trying and difficult circumstances maintained
her hope in a redeemer in the midst of Israels dark time of the Judges. Ruth would become the great grandmother
of King David from whom the messsiah would come.
